8. Shield Products
Shield Custom GPT Merchant Verification: This consumer-facing tool provides safety signals based on publicly available data including domain registration, SSL certificates, and third-party reputation services. These signals are informational only and do not constitute a guarantee of merchant legitimacy or transaction safety. Users should exercise their own judgment and use secure payment methods (such as credit cards) that offer purchase protection. We recommend reviewing your credit card's terms to understand what protections are available before making large purchases. The Company is not responsible for any losses resulting from transactions with merchants, regardless of their verification status.
Shield for Merchants (Radar Enhancement): This product provides enriched signals to help merchants enhance their fraud prevention capabilities. Merchants are responsible for combining these signals with their own business understanding, risk tolerance, and internal policies when making fraud decisions. The signals provided are one input among many that merchants should consider. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of any signal and is not responsible for decisions made using these signals or any resulting financial losses.
